PETER GOLDRING TO ASSIST ANNUAL CHRISTMAS COMMUNITY DINNER
EDMONTON - Peter Goldring, Member of Parliament for Edmonton East, will for the 12th time assist at the 24th annual “Feed The Hungry” Christmas Banquet, sponsored by the Victory Christian Center. The event will be held at the Shaw Conference Centre, 9797 Jasper Avenue, 5 p.m. December 25th.
About 5,000 people are expected to attend and assist at this year’s event. Along with a great Christmas turkey dinner, participants receive clothing, food hampers, presents and more. There will be musical entertainment, clowns, games and face painting for the children and a giant inflatable obstacle course, as well as a special area for teens featuring pool and video games.
“Victory Christian Center is to be very much commended for its efforts to bring together the community in this fashion,” Mr. Goldring says. “I am honoured to have been asked to attend and assist.”
