Peter Goldring to speak at citizenship ceremony
EDMONTON - Peter Goldring, Member of Parliament for Edmonton East, will be speaking to new Canadians at a citizenship ceremony, 10 a.m. January 7, at the University of Alberta’s Faculté Saint-Jean campus, 8406-91 Street.
 
“It is a privilege to take part in this event,” Mr. Goldring says. “Canada’s diversity, tolerance, and compassion, coupled with equality of opportunity, are without rival in the world.  As we continue to welcome new Canadians to our fold, we add new depth and vibrancy to our national, social and economic soul.”

Thursday’s ceremony is particularly special for Mr. Goldring as his nephew, Martin Galba, will become a Canadian citizen at the event.
